Trip to
Dalhart, Texas

Other than the Pacific Northwest trip, Texas was the only remaining state for the "crew". Originally we had thought of a trip to
San Antonio, but instead opted for a day trip to
Dalhart. We ate at the restaurant on the field, got a courtesy car and went to town. There we went to the
XIT Museum, then went geocaching to
Lake Rita. There were reports of rattlesnakes in the area, and Anthony and I saw plenty of holes expecting them to jump out at any time. Needless to say, we didn't reach into any of those holes to find a geocache and it was the first one we went to and came up empty. The weather couldn't have been better for this trip.
